At its recent meeting at The 144^th Open the Governing Board of the Official World Golf Ranking approved the inclusion of the following New Tours into the OWGR System:

Alps Tour Golf

EuroPro Tour

Nordic Golf League

ProGolf Tour

The four Tours form an integral part of the European professional golf structure providing a pathway to the Challenge and European Tour where the leading five professional players to a limit of 10^th place are awarded Challenge Tour exemption status for the following season. Additionally the leading 6 entrants from each Tour are given exemptions into the European Tour’s second stage of Qualifying School.

Each Tour will enter the OWGR system with a minimum level of 4 first place points for 54 hole tournaments and 6 first place points for 72 hole tournaments. Inclusion will commence with the tournaments to be played during OWGR Week 30 – Week ending Sunday 26th July 2015.
