Richard Green won the Mastercard Masters at Huntingdale Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia with a four foot birdie putt on the first hole of a play-off with Greg Chalmers and David McKenzie. The trio had tied on 17 under par and Green’s win has moved him up 18 places in the Official World Ranking to World Number 63.

Richard Green won the Mastercard Masters at Huntingdale Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia with a four foot birdie putt on the first hole of a play-off with Greg Chalmers and David McKenzie. The trio had tied on 17 under par and Green’s win has moved him up 18 places in the Official World Ranking to World Number 63.

Jyoti Randhawa of India won the Asian Tour’s season ending Volvo Masters of Asia when he beat Australian Terry Pilkadaris in a play-off to take the title and the $99,000 prize. Randhawa wins a place in the 2005 WGC – NEC Invitational and climbs 39 places to World Number 120.

Charl Schwartzel from South Africa won the dunhill championship at Leopard Creek Golf Club, an event co-sanctioned by the Sunshine Tour and the European Tour. Schwartzel beat European Tour Qualifying School graduate Neil Cheetham on the first hole of a sudden death play-off and is now World Number 201 a leap of 83 places.

Brad Sutterfield of the USA won the TIM Peru Open at Los Incas Golf Club in Lima. Sutterfield won by a stroke from British duo of Michael Hoey and Stuart Davis. The event was co-sanctioned by the Tour de las Americas and the European Challenge Tour. Sutterfield moves up to World Number 348.
