Robert-Jan Derksen from Holland won the Madeira Island Open Caixa Geral de Depositos, a dual ranking event between the European and Challenge Tours. A birdie on the 18th secured Derksen’s second European Tour win by a margin of two strokes from Gary Orr and Andrew McLardy. Derksen climbs 96 places into the World Top 200 at 194th position.
