Yang Yong-Eun from Korea won the HSCB Champions at Sheshan International Golf Club in China with a final round of 69 and a two-stroke margin over World Number One Tiger Woods. Yang, who won the Kolon Hana Bank Korean Open on the Asian Tour and the Suntory Open on the Japan Golf Tour, both in September 2006, climbs to 38th in the Official World Golf Ranking, a rise of 39 positions.

Yang, who won the Kolon Hana Bank Korean Open on the Asian Tour and the Suntory Open on the Japan Golf Tour, both in September 2006, climbs to 38th in the Official World Golf Ranking, a rise of 39 positions.

Tommy Nakajima won the Mitsui Sumitomo VISA Taiheiyo Masters on the Japan Golf Tour, an event he first won in 1985 when he was a World Top 10 ranked player. Nakajima climbs 368 places to World Number 213.

Craig Kanada chipped in on holes 17 and 18 to overtake Matt Kuchar and win the Nationwide Tour Championship at the Houstonian. As well as securing a place on the PGA Tour for 2007 this win takes Kanada to World Number 165, an improvement of 167 positions.
