PGA Tour - TOUR Championship
The TOUR Championship utilizes the FedExCup Starting Strokes format to reward players who’ve had the best seasons thus far. They’ve earned an advantage over their competition for the final week that decides the FedExCup.
From a betting perspective, players’ scores this week (not including the Starting Strokes) are also important. There was an active betting market for the low 72-hole score this week.
Collin Morikawa finished second behind FedExCup champ Scottie Scheffler on the overall scoreboard, but he left East Lake with the lowest 72-hole score among the 30-man field. Morikawa had the fourth-lowest odds (+1600) entering the week at BetMGM Sportsbook to have the lowest 72-hole score.
Morikawa’s final-round 66 meant he played four rounds in 22-under, with a 26-under total including his Starting Strokes. Morikawa’s 22-under 262 finished the week one shot ahead of Sahith Theegala, who closed with a 64, and two shots clear of Scheffler for the 72-hole score.
Morikawa and Theegala (24-under) finished solo second and solo third, respectively, on the final leaderboard behind Scheffler (30-under) when Starting Strokes were included.

DP World Tour - Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo
Niklas Nørgaard held his nerve to clinch his maiden DP World Tour title by two shots at the 2024 Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo. Nørgaard was the co-leader after 54 holes in this event last year before eventually finishing in seventh, and he put himself in the same position albeit on his own and with a four-shot advantage heading into Sunday's final round at The Belfry.
South Africa's Thriston Lawrence closed the gap to within one just after the turn, but two birdies in three holes saw the Dane regain his four-shot lead with four holes remaining. A double-bogey seven increased the heart rate with Lawrence sat two behind before calming himself with a par-birdie-par finish to secure victory at 16 under.

Japan Golf Tour - Fujisankei Classic
Kensei Hirata was declared the winner of the Fujisankei Classic as persistent unfavourable weather conditions forced the tournament to be shortened to 36 holes on Sunday. Hirata’s two-day total of nine-under-par 131 after rounds of 68 and 63 saw him take home the winner’s prize purse of ¥11,000,000 which was reduced by 50% and his fourth JGTO title.
“I felt nervous all morning due to the uncertainty of play. But I’m genuinely happy now. I woke up around 6 a.m. and was worrying about the weather. It was one of the most nerve-wracking experiences ever. When I teed off for my second round yesterday, I knew I had to extend my lead in this tournament as much as possible since it was becoming so unpredictable. The birdie putt on the last hole yesterday was significant and I’m so glad it went in,” said Hirata.

PGA Tour Americas - CRMC Championship presented by Gertens
Denmark-native Frederik Kjettrup claimed his third win of the season at the CRMC Championship presented by Gertens and earned the Three-Victory Promotion, making him an immediate member of the Korn Ferry Tour and fully exempt through the 2025 season. Kjettrup started the day off with a four-stroke lead and 18 holes remaining in the penultimate event of the season. After 15 holes and a singular birdie carded, Kjettrup’s lead was diminished, as one group ahead, Lewis took a one-shot lead after carding seven birdies and an eagle to total 9-under through 16 holes. After a birdie by Kjettrup on No. 16 and two pars on Nos. 17 and 18 for Lewis, Kjettrup entered No. 18 tied for the lead. The final hole, a 531-yard par 5 and reachable in two, was a promising endpoint for Kjettrup as his previous three rounds posted an eagle-birdie-birdie result. This time was no different as Kjettrup played the hole to perfection: a drive down the middle of the fairway paired with a newly-added 4-hybrid 250 yards to the green left the rookie with 23 feet for eagle. Without missing a beat and two putts to win, Kjettrup sunk the putt and claimed his third victory of the season.

Asian Tour - Mandiri Indonesia Open
England’s Steve Lewton triumphantly ended a 10-year wait to claim his second title on the Asian Tour by winning the US$500,000 Mandiri Indonesia Open today in a captivating sudden-death play-off. Experiencing the full gamut of emotions, he won with a birdie on the second extra hole against third-round leader Aaron Wilkin from Australia and Chinese rookie Sampson Zheng.
Lewton had looked on course to win in regulation play when he birdied 16 and 17 for a two-shot lead but he made a ruinous double-bogey on the par-fourth 18th, where his tee-shot landed in a hazard left of the tee. He returned a three-under-par 68 for a tournament total of 16-under, while Zheng shot the same score and Wilkin a 69, here at Damai Indah Golf – PIK Course, just north of Jakarta. When they returned to 18 they all made bogey, with Lewton coming closest to making a par, missing a four footer.

Sunshine Tour - Gary & Vivienne Player Challenge
Danie van Tonder’s ability to ignore all the nerves that comes with the pressure of winning and simply trust his attacking instincts once again paid off as he eagled the 18th hole to put himself in a playoff which he then won in the Gary & Vivienne Player Challenge at Kyalami Country Club on Friday. Van Tonder, who started the final round four strokes off the lead, first of all chipped in to eagle the 480m par-five closing hole in regulation play to complete a brilliant six-under-par 66 and leap to 14-under-par for the tournament.
The 33-year-old then had to wait to see if his clubhouse lead withstood the challenge of the last three two-balls. The eagle proved crucial as both Yurav Premlall and Martin Rohwer shot four-under-par 68s to also finish on 14-under, sending the trio into a sudden death-playoff on the 18th.

Asian Development Tour - BRG Open Golf Championship
Indian veteran Rahil Gangee certainly lived up to his billing as one of the star attractions at the BRG Open Golf Championship in Vietnam this week, firing a string of birdies in the closing stretch to post the clubhouse lead and endure an anxious wait to see if he’d done enough to win.
His par on the 18th for a three under 70 (209) was enough to edge out overnight leader Aidric Jose Chan, who needed to par to force a playoff. The young Filipino golfer, who was not even born when Gangee first joined the professional golf ranks, could only manage bogey at the last and saw his chance of a debut win slip away.
India’s Aman Raj (70), one of the strong Indian cohort taking part at the event, shared second place (210) with Chan (74) in the US$100,000 Asian Development Tour event at the Legend Da Nang Golf Club on the Nicklaus Course.
