PGA Tour - WM Phoenix Open

Thomas Detry has captured his first PGA TOUR victory at the WM Phoenix Open, finishing with a dominant performance at TPC Scottsdale. Detry's final round of four consecutive birdies sealed the deal, giving him a 24-under total and a seven-stroke lead over Michael Kim and Daniel Berger.  The win marks the first time a Belgian golfer has won on the PGA TOUR.

Known for his talent, Detry's victory wasn't just about skill. He acknowledged a personal battle with his mental game, which he overcame through work with a psychologist and the practice of meditation. Detry explained that these techniques helped him stay present and focused, especially in the face of pressure, citing a crucial moment on the 13th hole where he maintained composure despite a three-putt and Berger closing the gap.

Even with the famously boisterous crowds at the Phoenix Open, Detry's mental fortitude proved to be the key to his success. Fellow golfer Justin Thomas, who knew Detry from their junior golf days, had previously described him as "freakishly talented," and now, that talent has translated into a landmark victory.

DP World Tour - Commercial Bank Qatar Masters

Haotong Li of China secured his fourth DP World Tour title with a dramatic victory at the 2025 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.  Li sank a crucial 15-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to edge out Denmark's Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen by a single stroke. Li began the final round with a two-shot lead and quickly extended it to four. Despite a few stumbles mid-round, including bogeys on the 8th and 11th, Li managed to stay in contention.  Neergaard-Petersen mounted a strong charge, briefly overtaking Li for the lead.  However, Li's resilience shone through as he birdied the 12th and, crucially, the 18th to secure the win.

Li finished the tournament at 16 under par with a final round of 69. Neergaard-Petersen finished second at 15 under, while England's Brandon Robinson Thompson took third place.  This victory marks Li's first win since June 2022.  An emotional Li expressed his delight, saying, "I never thought I could come back in this position...I'm just so pleased I made that putt on the last."

Korn Ferry Tour - Astara Golf Championship presented by Mastercard

Kyle Westmoreland, a former Air Force Captain, secured his first Korn Ferry Tour victory at the Astara Golf Championship presented by Mastercard.  Westmoreland carded a final-round 1-under 70 at Country Club de Bogota-Lagos, finishing one stroke ahead of Pierceson Coody and Christo Lamprecht.

The win marks Westmoreland's first on any PGA TOUR-sanctioned tour.  After losing his PGA TOUR card following a difficult rookie season, this victory significantly boosts his chances of returning next year. He now sits third on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List, with the top 20 earning TOUR cards after the Korn Ferry Tour Finals.

Westmoreland's final round was a rollercoaster, beginning with a double bogey on the first hole.  Despite the early setback, he rallied with seven birdies, including three consecutive on holes 14-16, ultimately securing the win.

A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Westmoreland served for five years before pursuing professional golf.  This victory comes in his 60th Korn Ferry Tour start.

PGA Tour of Australasia - Vic Open

New Zealand's Josh Geary has won the 2025 Vic Open at 13th Beach Golf Links, his first Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia title in nearly 12 years. Geary battled brutal conditions in the final round, carding a 6-over-par 78, but it proved enough for a four-stroke victory.  The windswept final day saw only three players shoot under par, with West Australian Connor McKinney’s 2-under 70 lifting him into second place.  Geary, who led after rounds two and three, described the conditions as "super, super tough," and admitted he never thought a 78 would be enough to win.  His victory comes despite a challenging final round that included a triple-bogey on the eighth hole.  McKinney’s strong finish earned him his best result yet on the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia.
