PGA Tour - RBC Heritage
Justin Thomas dramatically ended a near three-year winless drought at the RBC Heritage, sinking a lengthy putt on the 18th play-off hole to defeat Andrew Novak. Thomas, who had remarked to his stand-in caddie that he'd never made a significant winning putt on the final green, holed a putt just outside 20 feet, prompting an emotional celebration.
The American carded a bogey-free final round of 68 on the demanding Harbour Town course, including a 25-foot birdie on the 16th, to finish tied with Novak at 17-under par. Novak, who also shot a final round 68, had a chance to win on the 72nd hole but his birdie putt slid wide.
In the sudden-death play-off, Novak missed his birdie attempt from around 35 feet, leaving Thomas with the opportunity to secure his 16th PGA TOUR title. Surrounded by enthusiastic fans and his family, including his wife Jill and their five-month-old daughter Molly, Thomas savoured the long-awaited victory.
The tournament also saw tight competition throughout the final round, with Si Woo Kim and Maverick McNealy briefly joining Thomas and Novak at the top of the leaderboard. Daniel Berger, Mackenzie Hughes, and Brian Harman finished tied for third. Defending champion Scottie Scheffler, despite a late charge, ultimately finished in a tie for eighth.
Thomas's victory propels him to No. 6 in the Official World Golf Rankings and significantly improves his Ryder Cup standings. For Novak, his strong performance should secure his place in the upcoming U.S. Open and puts him in a good position to qualify for The Open Championship.

PGA Tour - Corales Puntacana Championship
South African Garrick Higgo seized victory at the windy Corales Puntacana Championship on Sunday after Joel Dahmen suffered a late collapse. Higgo unexpectedly found himself sharing the lead when Dahmen missed a very short par putt on the par-3 17th, his second bogey in a row. The win was secured when Dahmen's eight-foot par attempt on the final par-4 hole failed to drop.
Playing in the group ahead, the 25-year-old Higgo also bogeyed the 17th but managed a par on the 18th for a level-par round of 72 and a 14-under total of 274. Dahmen carded a disappointing 76, having held the lead after each of the previous three rounds in the tournament he won back in 2021, which remains his only tour title.
This victory marks Higgo's second on the PGA TOUR, his first being the 2021 Palmetto Championship at Congaree. The former UNLV player now has a two-year exemption on the tour, although the win does not grant him entry into the Masters.

HotelPlanner Tour - Abu Dhabi Challenge
Italy's Renato Paratore has clinched his second consecutive HotelPlanner Tour victory, carding a final round of four-under-par 66 at the Abu Dhabi Challenge. The Italian golfer, who celebrated a win at last week's UAE Challenge, birdied two of his final four holes to finish the tournament on 17 under par.
The final day saw a tight contest, with Scotland's David Law setting the early clubhouse lead after a remarkable nine-under-par 61, and Spain's Sebastian Garcia also finishing strongly. They both ended one shot behind Paratore on 16 under par.
Paratore started the final round one shot behind overnight leader Garrick Porteous but quickly moved into contention with birdies on the fifth and seventh holes. Despite a mixed back nine with three birdies and two bogeys, the 28-year-old held his nerve, needing a birdie on the par-five 18th to secure the win. After a well-placed second shot, Paratore two-putted for the decisive birdie, capping off a successful two weeks in the Middle East.
"I feel amazing," Paratore said. "I still can’t believe it. To make two birdies in the last four holes, I am really happy. I felt confident coming into today because I won last week but I knew it was tough today because there were a lot of people in contention."
Following his consecutive victories in the United Arab Emirates, Paratore has significantly climbed the Road to Mallorca Rankings, jumping five places to second. Law's strong performance sees him rise 18 places to ninth, while Garcia moves up 78 spots to 18th. Paratore has also moved to his best career ranking in the Official World Golf Ranking, now inside the Top 250.

Nordic Golf League - Sand Valley Championship
Poland's Sand Valley witnessed a thrilling final day of the Sand Valley Championship, with blustery conditions adding to the drama. After calm opening rounds, strong winds swept across the course on Tuesday, making pin positions on the undulating greens particularly challenging and setting the stage for a captivating finish.
Sweden's Adam Wallin, who started the final round with a comfortable three-shot lead, saw his advantage quickly disappear. Denmark's Jeppe Kristian Andersen surged to the front, carding an impressive eagle on the par-5 eighth hole to move to -16 overall and six-under for the day. He wasn't finished there, repeating the feat with another eagle on the 11th, pushing him to -18 and extending his lead to two shots.
A bogey on the 15th couldn't derail the Dane, who kept his composure to finish with three steady pars. This secured a well-deserved victory for Jeppe Kristian Andersen at the Sand Valley Championship.

Nordic Golf League - ECCO Tour Sand Valley Masters
After two rounds played in near-perfect sunshine and temperatures reaching 26 degrees Celsius, the final round presented a stark contrast. A chilly wind, grey skies, and a temperature of 12 degrees tested the players at Sand Valley Golf Resort in Poland.
However, while many struggled to find their rhythm in the wind, the 24-year-old Dane, who is based in the USA, delivered a composed performance. Starting the final round four shots off the lead at seven-under par, Nyland quickly moved up the leaderboard with four birdies in his opening seven holes. Birdies on the 12th and 13th holes propelled him into a tie for the lead with Mathias Gladbjerg, and another birdie on the 16th saw Nyland take the outright lead.
A bogey on the challenging 196-metre par-3 17th hole, played directly into the wind, brought the drama back as he found himself tied for the lead with Sweden's Adam Andersson. But on the 18th, a par-4 with the wind behind, Nyland hit a long drive, laid his second shot to within a metre and a half, and confidently sank the birdie putt.
This meant Andersson needed to match the birdie on the 18th to force a play-off, which he was unable to do, allowing Nyland to celebrate his maiden ECCO Tour victory. This win marks the fifth victory for Denmark in the first seven tournaments of the Nordic League season.
